Frequently asked questions
When is the 2027 event?
Sunday 16 May 2027. The 3K Fun Run starts at 9:30am and the 10K starts at 10:30am.
How much does it cost to enter?
The 10K is £16 EA affiliated or £18 unaffiliated. The 3K Fun Run is £5 for all entries.
What are the age requirements?
The 10K is for runners aged 15 years and over on race day. The 3K Fun Run is for participants aged 4 years and over on race day. Children aged 4–7 must be accompanied throughout the Fun Run by a responsible adult. Runners aged 8–17 need a responsible adult present at the venue and contactable during the event.
Where do I collect my race number?
Open Door Baptist Church Hall, 5 Spalding Road, Deeping St James, Peterborough, PE6 8NJ. For the 10K, number collection is 8:00am–10:20am; for the 3K Fun Run, it is 8:30am–9:15am.
Where can I park?
Main free event parking is at The Deepings School, Park Road, Deeping St James, Peterborough, PE6 8NF. Overflow parking is at Deeping Bowls Club on Spalding Road.
Is bag storage available?
Yes. Participant bag storage is available on the Rugby Club Playing Field.
Are both races chip-timed and marshalled?
Yes. Both races are chip-timed and fully marshalled. Please follow the instructions given by race marshals and traffic-control operatives.
Do finishers receive a medal?
Yes. Finishers receive a race medal.
Will refreshments be available?
Yes. Refreshments will be available in the Deepings Rugby Club clubhouse.
Is the course officially measured?
The 10K course holds UKA Course Accuracy Certificate 23/057.
